Buoyancy Free Download Repacklab Buoyancy is a city-building strategy game set in an ocean world. Build a floating city. Plan out your city’s expansion by placing floating platforms that connect with each other. There are several types of buildings: Gatherers, Production, Hunters, Military, and Utility. Resources are delivered in real-time for constructing and production by your villagers. Manage a growing population. Your city’s population will be ever growing! Manage your villagers happiness and nourishment levels to keep them alive. Try to balance resource production with an increasing population that demands more and more. Combat sickness and fires that could cripple your city. Explore with your mighty city. In this ocean world there are resources and floating junk to exploit but they’re not always going to drift your way. SEXY GAMES

You can move your city around to exploit resources providing your buildings a production boost. Most of these resources are critical to develop larger cities, and some are necessary to keep surviving! Find schools of fish, derelict ships, and take advantage of rebounded whale populations (or don’t). Fight for your survival. Pirates will attack you if they spot your city. You can train Guards to defend your city from invaders. Place Junk Cannons to destroy a large amount of pirates in one blow, but be careful of friendly fire! The game is a pretty decent colony management sim. It has a few things to it that set it apart from similar sims, though. Placement becomes increasingly more significant, and increasingly more difficult to manage

At the beginning of the game, players can open up the tutorial of Buoyancy. It explains some of the basic buildings required to sustain a floating city. Of course, with any game, it only covers some fo the content, the rest is determined through gameplay. For example, some of the first buildings that players need are the scavenger and the forager. These allow players food and wood that is used to build structures. Buoyancy is a different take on the traditional city builder in that players are creating a city on water, which presents its own challenges. For example, the larger your city, the slower it will move unless a motor is built. There are other challenges like fending off pirates, defending your city from invading ships, or protecting your city from nasty storms that set your much-needed buildings on fire. Moss

Of course, those are issues that players would expect from a game like Buoyancy. Even still, there are other challenges like citizens become sick from food or they will juggle knives for entertainment. As an Early Access game, Buoyancy has a bunch of features that are not yet included in the game, which will become useful for players at a later point in time. For example, at the bottom of the screen, there are a couple of tabs that state ‘coming soon’ like the city policies and statistics tabs. I expect that once the game fully launches that Buoyancy will be a game that challenges players with the addition of policies. It will also be quite useful to see the statistics of a city so that any future playthroughs will be easier.

there are two levels of strategy in this game.

The first is ensuring that you don’t build too quickly because you won’t have enough people to operate the buildings. The second level of strategy is your building placement. Not only do you have to make sure to build the right buildings to survive, but you have to strategically place the structures so that they can collect the free roaming resources. Also, this means that the larger your city becomes, the harder it is for your city to dock with trading ports and other ships. Having this multilevel strategy makes Buoyancy a challenging city builder without bogging down the player with too many options or statistics. Also, when invaded by pirates or other vessels, players can lose the game when all the citizens in your city die. Settlement Survival

Good mechanics, nice gameplay. A nice building/survival game, but lacks a purpose atm. After a few hours, when you get your city up to 150-200 people, it’s just you floating and collecting resources unless you “luck” out on a big pirate attack (if you toggled pirates on game start) and they kill half your people so you get to manage that crisis. All in all, it’s probably going to be pretty great once it gets that purpose that most EA games lack at first Thankfully, I’ve only managed to lose the game twice in this way. And while Buoyancy isn’t particularly complicated, it’s quite unique and interesting for players like myself who enjoy city builders. It isn’t a cakewalk like its appearance to unsuspecting players and I quite enjoy this title as a result.

Buoyancy Steam Reviews

Overall game play is smooth. I look forward to seeing the upcoming feature of technology in the hopes of more expansive development. My first city has been extremely successful and my only real problem I’m having is sitting at an 82% happiness due to 70% of my population being idle much of the time. I enjoyed the game for the first 5 hours I played it, until I ran out of things to do. Hope the new contents will be released soon. Also the bugs are really annoying, like when my laborers suddenly stopped transporting materials to building site, or when they all went ♥♥♥♥ all mode and chill somewhere, leaving a sky-high pile of resource crates at every building. Even saving and reloading do not help, I’ve got to reset like 3 times. Necesse

This game has a great deal of potential. I’m hoping it will add more features so its not just another city builder and will take advantage of its water based enviroment such as waterwheel based energy, perhaps buildings sticking up from the water that have their own event to find things inside, perhaps things to do with how the world became submerged. I also hope to see more diversity in the water creatures, rafts, and outposts but I expect that will come in time. As I said a lot of potential, its early days but I am hopeful it will be more unique than other collect and build games. That said, I have a couple of minor issues with the game. The first issue I have with the game is, for some reason players can only go north, east, or west.
